Welcome to Holy Trinity Utrecht Anglican Church!
Welcome to Utrecht. Holy Trinity Utrecht warmly invites all English-speaking students to be a part of this international church community, whether you are here for a year or more, or just for a few months. We welcome Christians and anyone who wants to find out more about Christianity. We are a small, but warm church community. A broad range of people make up our church family. There are people from various backgrounds, old and young, internationals and ‘Dutchies’.
Moving to a new country brings new experiences, changes, and challenges. Studying abroad can be exciting and daunting at the same time. A new city, new people and a new way of life to get used to. Here at Holy Trinity we’d like to offer you friendship and help you feel at home during the time that you are studying here.
Our main service is each Sunday at 10.30 am at our church on Van Limburg-Stirumplein in Utrecht (directions are to be found here). Why not come along and check us out?
We really hope you’ll quickly feel part of the church family – if you do want to get involved the best way is to get in touch with Annelies van de Steeg, who is our Student Pastor. You can email or phone her or talk to her after the service on Sunday.
Student and HTU
Holy Trinity Anglican Church is part of IPSU (which could be translated as Interdenominational Platform for Students in Utrecht). This is the Student Chaplaincy in Utrecht. The chaplaincy provides spirtual and personal guidance and organises religious and social activities, events and workshops. As part of IPSU and as English speaking church, our aim is to be there especially for international students. Of course, if you are a Dutch student, you are most welcome too! All students are warmly invited to participate in the activities from IPSU as well as from HTU. The activities IPSU organizes are either English or Dutch spoken. For more information, see www.ipsu.nl, or contact Annelies.
One-on-one
Maybe you’d like to meet up with some-one from the church to chat about something. You might have a question or problem that is bugging you, need some advice, or just some-one who can listen and pray with you. If this is the case, please do feel free to get in touch with Annelies.

Student Pastor
Hi, my name is Annelies van de Steeg. I have just been appointed Student Pastor for Holy Trinity Utrecht. I’ve lived in Utrecht for over 8 years now and know the city quite well (though I never climbed the Dom Tower)!
I’ve been raised a Christian, but really decided to be one when I was about twelve. Since then, my journey with faith has had its ups and downs, but I couldn’t do without it. I studied Theology at Utrecht University and worked as a church worker and pastoral counsellor.
When I’m not working, I love to be outdoors (biking of course, but also running and hiking), read a good book (anything from a novel to some theological work), enjoy a good movie or make music (singing).
Follow us on Facebook to keep up to date with the latest information for students.
