The first part of the document, that will be available in its final form after the…

Bishop Robert’s Christmas message

Read  the Bishop’s Christian Message or watch on youtube The nine lessons and carols service from King’s College Cambridge is listened to by millions of people all over the world. It is one of England’s most distinctive and successful religious exports! For me, the service has especial resonance, because this was the college where I studied as an undergraduate and so the distinctive sound of the treble voices and fulsome reed organ stops brings back happy memories of my student life.…

Bishop’s Advent Appeal: The Sant’Egidio Programme

Chaplain’s Letter December: The Time of Advent

Dear Friends in Christ: We begin the new Christian year with the season of Advent. Our colour has changed to purple to symbolize penitence. Spiritually it is meant to be a time greater self-reflection, in quiet, to prepare ourselves inwardly for the great feast and celebration of Christmas. It is a penitential season – and yet it is also a season full of hope!  We see lights going up in the streets at night to…

Churches and individuals have been given the opportunity to support this project – Holy Trinity Chaplaincy Council has recently approved a donation of €2,500 towards this…

Advent Bible Study

Advent is the time of preparing for Christ’s coming. Angels and persons involved burst out in singing! Will we be ready to sing Gods glory and speak prophetic words when Christ comes again? During Advent we will read, study and sing each Tuesday another song from the Bible related to Christ first coming. Let’s pray that we find a connection to our current circumstances and be prepared for His second coming, His coming again in…
