Council votes for Amersfoort Church Plant!

At the Wednesday January 21st meeting of the Holy Trinity Utrecht Chaplaincy Church Council members present (one absent) voted unanimously in favour of the proposal to establish a new church plant in the neighbouring city of Amersfoort.  A new Selection Committee has been formed, a new position profile approved and the position will soon be advertised for a new Chaplain to establish and build a new Anglican church in Amersfoort.  May God lead us in this…

New Cooking Group!

At the Away Day last year council members discussed all kinds of topics. One of which was fellowship and outreach. For some reason the discussion in one of the small groups was quickly triggered by the words food, cooking, and dinner.  It wasn’t a giant leap to propose starting a cooking group.  So here we are: We hereby present to you the possibility of JOINING THE COOKING GROUP! Christian Classics Study Group – Charles Williams

On Friday, January 16 at 6:30pm, the Christian Classics Study Group will gather in the Parsonage Hall. We will read and reflect on samples of Charles Williams poetry and prose, including some from The Descent of the Dove: A Short History of the Holy Spirit in the Church. David Llewellyn Dodds will introduce us to the works of Charles Williams. David is a member of the Arnhem – Nijmegen Chaplaincy and is an expert in Williams poetry and prose.…

It has been a wonderful year for the Choir at Holy Trinity, particularly at the times just past of Advent and Christmas and we hope that you, the congregation and visitors to Holy Trinity, have enjoyed the singing as much as we have.  It is not a self-serving occupation for choir members, but there to enhance for all of us our worship of God, following a tradition that goes back centuries in the Anglican Church.
