Once again Holy Trinity Church is the starting point for the candle lit route through the neighbourhood around the Wilhelminapark. From 6:oo pm to 7:15 pm you can start your travels through the Christmas story, your way lit by 2000 small candles. You will meet Romans, angels, shepherds with their flocks, king Herod and the wise men from the east. They will tell you all about the incredible things they have seen and experienced over the last few days.
The last candle is in the stable where you will find Joseph, Mary and the infant Jesus surrounded by animals!
The lichtjestocht is for everyone of all ages. There is a quest laid out for children. And of course there is coffee, glühwein, chocolate milk and music.
