Our AGM takes place in the church on Sunday 14 April at 12.30pm. 
We’ll review our past year, receive reports on church life, approve the accounts and agree the budget, then look to the year ahead, by electing or appointing those to take up various leadership roles. We also pass any specific resolutions to enhance our faith life and running the church. 
It’s an important stage in our church life for a successful year to come.

• Our revised Electoral Roll membership is approved, adding those who want to join and removing those who are no longer members. 
  The Roll is important, allowing you to vote on matters of church life and is used also by our Diocese to set our contributions and membership of various synods and groups. 
  So, if you’re not on it and should be, please contact our Electoral Roll Officer:
  Sheila Kooijman.          

Sheila will give you the application form and confirm your eligibility. 
Please tell her if you’re on the Roll and wish your name to be removed, or if your details have changed, or if you aware that someone else should be removed.

The other business for the meeting is to elect or appointment members to the following positions:

• Churchwardens – 2 for (1yr term)
• Council members – 8 for Utrecht; 1 for Zwolle; 1 for Groningen (1yr term)
• Charitable Giving Committee – 4 (1yr term)
• Appoint the Leadership Teams in Zwolle and Groningen

These roles form a vital part in our church life, and so if you would like to talk about any of them, please ask one of the Churchwardens, or speak to the Chaplain. 

Proposal forms for the positions must be received at least 8 days before the AGM and the forms will be available in church, online or through the office, soon.
