Next week Friday 15 December, the Lichtjestocht Utrecht-Oost will take place and it starts at Holy Trinity once more. Bishop’s Advent Appeal

With Advent just starting, our charitable giving goes to the Bishop’s Advent Appeal.This year the appeal supports the Anglican Communion Fund of the Archbishop of Canterbury, which makes small donations across the church which can make a real difference. Advent: Follow the Star and join the song

For Advent you can join the Church of England in following the Star and joining the song.This includes daily reflections for Advent and the 12 days of Christmas and an Advent Calendar. Remembrance Sunday

Remembrance Sunday this year will be marked by two services: Choral Holy Communion at 10.30 am in the morning, and Choral Evensong at 5.00 pm in the afternoon.The music will include pieces by Rutter, Irving, Ayleword and Marchant.All are very welcome to join us for one or both of these services.

This Sunday 29 October

This Sunday is perhaps a little more special than other Sundays. In the morning we have a Solemn Choral Communion, a service in traditional language with incense and bells.In the afternoon we will meet with our brothers and sisters of the Old Catholic community in Utrecht. Midweek Praise and Prayer

Our monthly Praise and Prayer takes place next week Wednesday 18 October in the evening.Music, praise and prayers (of course!) and an opportunity for fellowship. A very contemporary and different way of worship to our Sunday services. Why not join us and see what it offers you? 2 services this weekend

We start this Sunday with Choral Holy Communion, with Prayers for Healing and Wholeness as part of the service. And after the service enjoy a cup of coffee or tea in the parsonage, maybe even in the garden. In the afternoon you can join us in worship in a beautiful traditional Choral Evensong. Preces and Responses by Houghton, canticles by Walmisley along with hymns, anthem and an introit.

Harvest Sunday this weekend

Our service of All Age Holy Communion this weekend celebrates the harvest. Join us for worship with songs by our Worship Band, followed by a Bring-and-share lunch. And this might well take place in the garden, our oasis of peace in the busy city of Utrecht.

Praise and Prayer moves to midweek

Next Wednesday, 20 September at 8.00 pm we have our monthly service of Praise and Prayer. This has moved from the third Sunday of each month so as to offer midweek worship as opposed to solely on Sundays. Join us for praise, prayer, engagement with the Word and worship in music by our Worship Band.

In July we started with a new look for our Newsletter, and have added a sign-up form on our homepage. This is possible because we now host our Newsletter with Laposta.
