2019: The year the Electoral Roll is renewed

ELECTORAL ROLL 2019 The Chaplaincy Electoral Roll must be completely renewed for 2019, which means everyone who wants to be a voting member of Holy Trinity Chaplaincy must be recorded. This allows you to vote at the Annual Church Meeting, offer yourself for election to Council or various formal committees or as an officer, such as Churchwarden. It is also important for the Chaplaincy that we have accurate information. The number of members on the…

Remembrance Sunday

REMEMBRANCE DAY We are used to remembering the fallen in world wars at Holy Trinity Utrecht on Remembrance Sunday, usually with a two-minute silence. Some members of our congregation and the Chaplain also take part in the Memorial Ceremony at the Gansstraat cemetory in Utrecht. Although the Netherlands was not in the Great War of 1914-18, as the Anglican Church in Utrecht we have close links with those who suffered and with our neighbours in Belgium.…

The Council is made up of 16 clergy and lay members, some of whom we elected at the Annual Church Meeting in April, and some who have places “ex-officio” because of other roles they take in our Church. Clergy:        The Rev David Phillips,…

Praise the Lord, O my soul!

It has been a wonderful year for the Choir at Holy Trinity, particularly at the times just past of Advent and Christmas and we hope that you, the congregation and visitors to Holy Trinity, have enjoyed the singing as much as we have.  It is not a self-serving occupation for choir members, but there to enhance for all of us our worship of God, following a tradition that goes back centuries in the Anglican Church. The wonder of…
