Amersfoort Chaplain Appointment!

Following interviews held on June 5th, we announced that a candidate has been nominated to the bishop for the post of Chaplain of the Anglican Church in Amersfoort, part of the Chaplaincy of Holy Trinity Utrecht. Mofish Concert June 20 for Imibala!

Imibala is a non-profit organization whose primary purpose is to raise money to sponsor children who cannot afford to attend school in South Africa. Sign up for the Electoral Roll

Have you been regularly worshipping at Holy Trinity Utrecht for the last six months?  Then you can sign up for the electoral roll.  Deadline is April 12th 2015.  If you have already signed up on the electoral roll in the past year, it is valid for three years, so no need to sign up again until 2017. Council votes for Amersfoort Church Plant!

At the Wednesday January 21st meeting of the Holy Trinity Utrecht Chaplaincy Church Council members present (one absent) voted unanimously in favour of the proposal to establish a new church plant in the neighbouring city of Amersfoort.  A new Selection Committee has been formed, a new position profile approved and the position will soon be advertised for a new Chaplain to establish and build a new Anglican church in Amersfoort.  May God lead us in this…

Proposed Amersfoort Church Plant

This month, on January 21, our Chaplaincy Church Council will be making a very important decision about whether or not to begin a church plant in Amersfoort. New Website

This week we have launched the new website for Holy Trinity Church in time for new visitors to our site during the Advent and Christmas season. The website has been created by Robbert de Kuiper with the direction of the Website Subcommittee formed by the Chaplaincy Church Council, and chaired by Peter Boswijk. The website uses a theme from WordPress and so several people will be given access to be able to update the site easily.…

Jewish Monument: Utrecht Remembers

Seventy years after the war there are plans to built a memorial to the 1,224 Jewish victims sent to the death camps from Utrecht. The plan for the monument is a bronze shofar (a horn) next to a memorial wall with the 1224 names of the deported and murdered Jews of Utrecht (see above). The artist chosen is Amiran Djanasvili. Churches and individuals have been given the opportunity to support this project – Holy Trinity Chaplaincy Council has recently approved a donation of €2,500 towards this…

Archdeaconry Synod 2014 Report
