3 December 2024Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. It gives you the chance to explore faith, ask questions and share your point of view. Everyone is welcome.
Starts Tuesday 17 September, every week with the last evening on 3 December.
Where: the Parsonage hall.

13 December 2024As usual this year Holy Trinity Church is the starting point for the candle lit route through the neighbourhood around the Wilhelminapark. From 6:oo pm to 7:15 pm you can start your travels through the Christmas story, your way lit by 2000 small candles. You will meet Romans, angels, shepherds with their flocks, king Herod and the wise men from the east. They will tell you all about the incredible things they have seen and experienced over the last few days.
The last candle is in the stable where you will find Joseph, Mary and the infant Jesus surrounded by animals!
The lichtjestocht is for all ages. There is a quest laid out for children. And of course there is coffee, glühwein, chocolate milk and music.
Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep.
For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.
