Report on Archdeaconry Synod 2015

This year’s synod was again held in Dongen, near Gent Belgium.  Holy Trinity is represented by the clergy and her 4 elected lay representatives.  The main topic was the bishop’s strategy for the Diocese. We also went into vocations and the deanaries. Amersfoort Chaplain Appointment!

Following interviews held on June 5th, we announced that a candidate has been nominated to the bishop for the post of Chaplain of the Anglican Church in Amersfoort, part of the Chaplaincy of Holy Trinity Utrecht. Kerkennacht – Churches Night – June 19-20

Kerkennacht (“Churches Night”) is a biannual ecumenical event where dozens of churches, chapels and monasteries in the country open their doors and welcome visitors.
