It has been a wonderful year for the Choir at Holy Trinity, particularly at the times just past of Advent and Christmas and we hope that you, the congregation and visitors to Holy Trinity, have enjoyed the singing as much as we have. It is not a self-serving occupation for choir members, but there to enhance for all of us our worship of God, following a tradition that goes back centuries in the Anglican Church.
The wonder of the growth in membership at Holy Trinity Church is one in which we can rejoice; adding to the opportunities to express our praise in so many ways. So we hope that you will consider whether you can add to our church life by singing with us in the Choir.
Our church is one that serves many communities, some who are with us for a short time, such as students and those here for short work terms, and is also different to that experienced in a traditional parish, where you live close to the church. This can make the membership of the Choir more challenging and transitional. At times we are few and this means we have to strive hard in giving due praise and support to our congregation.
So please consider joining us in keeping our wonderful tradition of music vibrant and alive, that when done well, is truly a “Song of Praise”.
The Choir welcomes anyone to join and strengthen our singing, and you do not need to be an experienced singer or to sing at all services. It is a joyful experience where we share fellowship and learn from each other. Choir practice takes place every Thursday evening from 20.00 to 22.00 in the church hall, van Hogendorpstraat 26, Utrecht.

Praise the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me praise his holy Name!
