Tomorrow, Wednesday 14 February, Lent begins with a service of Choral Holy Communion for Ash Wednesday.This will include the Imposition of Ashes.Everyone is welcome to join us to mark the beginning of Lent. Daily Reflections for Lent will be available from the Church of England; you can find out more by visiting the Church of England website.
Remembrance Sunday this year will be marked by two services: Choral Holy Communion at 10.30 am in the morning, and Choral Evensong at 5.00 pm in the afternoon.The music will include pieces by Rutter, Irving, Ayleword and Marchant.All are very welcome to join us for one or both of these services.
Because of low attendance, it has been decided to cancel the midweek service of Holy Communion (Wednesdays, 7pm) until further notice. Although we lose this weekly service, we gain a monthly one, as we now have a Dutch service once every month at 9.00 am on the fourth Sunday. The first of these services will be on Advent Sunday, 27th November.
