Ash Wednesday

Tomorrow, Wednesday 14 February, Lent begins with a service of Choral Holy Communion for Ash Wednesday.This will include the Imposition of Ashes.Everyone is welcome to join us to mark the beginning of Lent. This Sunday is the second Sunday before Lent and we celebrate this with All Age Holy Communion. Join us for worship led by Ruan and supported by our Worship band. Week of Prayer for Christian Unity

This year the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity will be held 21-28 January. “You shall love the Lord your God and your neighbour as yourself” (Luke 10:27) Christians from Burkina Faso developed the local draft for the resources. Bishop’s Advent Appeal

With Advent just starting, our charitable giving goes to the Bishop’s Advent Appeal.This year the appeal supports the Anglican Communion Fund of the Archbishop of Canterbury, which makes small donations across the church which can make a real difference. Remembrance Sunday

Remembrance Sunday this year will be marked by two services: Choral Holy Communion at 10.30 am in the morning, and Choral Evensong at 5.00 pm in the afternoon.The music will include pieces by Rutter, Irving, Ayleword and Marchant.All are very welcome to join us for one or both of these services.
